Gloria
Gloria's Girls is a $2,500 award presented by The Bergel Institute to a Palm Beach County high school senior girl who exemplifies leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
The award is named in honor of Gloria Skapik, whose lifelong dedication to family, community, and the belief that young women can change the world continues to inspire the Institute's work.
We are looking for a young woman who leads not with title or status, but with heart — someone who sees a need and takes action, who lifts others up, and who carries a vision for a better world into everything she does.

Selection Criteria
01Palm Beach County resident — current high school senior
02Demonstrated leadership — in school, community, or other settings
03Community commitment — evidence of service and impact beyond self-interest
04Vision and purpose — a clear sense of how she hopes to contribute to the world
05Character — humility, empathy, and genuine care for others
