Summer 2026 Internships

The Institute’s Internship Program is highly selective, and Interns are expected to engage deeply with the Institute’s subject matter. This summer, in addition to individual internships, we are offering “coupled” internship opportunities, whereby Interns may be paired together to work in one of the following areas:

  1. Business development and strategic planning (this may be ideal for two graduate students in the business field {e.g., MBA students})

  2. Healthcare vs Sickcare - Overturning the U.S. health and sick care system

  3. Revolutionizing public education

  4. Applying the frontiers of science to our health practices and daily lives

  5. Ending human trafficking and enslavement

  6. Eliminating the US Poverty Industrial Complex as a pathway to eradicating poverty

  7. Applying critical thinking to contemporary issues and assumptions

- We will also offer one internship for an individual focusing on our education and social media efforts and one internship for an individual focusing on AI and technology.

Candidates should apply individually, and when applying, please indicate which of the above is your area of interest. If selected, you may be matched with a fellow summer Intern to pursue the work.

Summer internships pay $20/hour for 20 hours/week for 10 weeks.

Please send cover letter and resume with your application.

Interns will be invited to attend the semiannual Institute gatherings and are expected to serve as mentors to future interns and stay connected to the Institute through annual Intern alumni meetings.

Summer 2026 Internship applications are available below and are due no later than April 30, 2026. Selections will be made on a rolling basis, beginning in March. All Internships will begin on June 1, 2026.

Please remember to include a cover letter and resume with your application. Send all questions and application materials to internships@bergelinstitute.org.
